I am on the hunt for a good if not the best Flash UI Designer to re-design our corporate site (as it is being launched in a big way very soon, registered as a private limited company). So, please comment here or use the contact form to contact me with your hourly rate in either (US$, GBP, INR or EURO). …

Nokia floated a press release during the early first quarter of this year regarding the introduction (last quarter of this year, 2004) of Nokia 9500 Communicator among many other models. According to Nokia, this model offers high memory capacity, a full set of business critical applications, and versatile network connecctions. This model is not that bulky as the earlier 9600i and its families.

Fahrenheit 9/11 was a nice movie to sit back and watch, smile off at the ways things are portrayed. Personally, I am so bad with politics that I would not like to comment on anything. It is just that the movie is cool in itself. All footages were nicely stitched.

For developers who are into creation of models, architectures using UML, when you want to maintain a standard amongst your team,
The Elements of UML Style (author: Scott W. Ambler) is one of those good reference book to have. This is a small booklet with just about 145 page and this can be a very handy reference specially during your initial stage of Application Modeling, before you get fully used to the Class Diagrams, Use Case Diagrams and the other Diagrams.

The pain seems to come and go, sometimes it lingers through the night. Massaging the back of the palm and the fingers with pain-relieve ointments helps a bit but it is there. The fear of course is of the Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. My fear was aggravated when I discovered that another of my friend was diagnosed with similar symptoms, and his doctor warned him of a very early stage of CTS.
We laugh off at “no typing for 2 months” advise from the doctor; but then things have to be done to counter the same. Well, I have decided to go and buy some of the best ergonomic keyboard, searching yield me to FingerWorks’ TouchStream Keyboards. Here the problem is that the keyboard cost about $339 and the import duty to India will double its cost (that total cost will likely be the typical cost of a Pentium IV Desktop).
Anybody have suggestions for some good keyboards, please comment or let me know through the contact form. Also suggestions and advise about CTS are welcome too.

Yes, it indeed started like any other night for Max (Jamie Foxx, remember his somewhat-similar situation in the “Bait“); his passengers, his 12 times-holidays-in-a-day dream, the tropical island and a limo service. That faithful night, he had both a victim played by Jada Pinkett Smith (Niobe, of the Matrix Revolution) and the cold assassin, Vincent (Cruise), as his passenger. I really like the music, the background audio-beat of the movie; just as I like the music of “The Italian Job“.

I had missed, carved for, waited and let go two seasons of MAX for this 2004 MAX and had almost finished all preparations for the same, when I realized I was choosen amongst many to speak at Flash Europe. So, I had no regret to put MAX aside for this season too and was concentrating on the Flash Europe thingy. But now as Flash Europe is postponed to March, 2005, I am left with nothing but to abandon all travel plans for this year.

Flash Wallpaper from Tenmiles, is an application which can convert SWF file into a distributable wallpaper installer. It also boasts of Syndication of RSS Feed, Gaming, Calendars but I don’t see any click-click option or a drag-drop option to do that. Tenmiles must be trying to say that you can do this in Flash yourself and you can package as a wallaper installer. Well, with other highly competitive tools having this wallpaper distributable feature, it is difficult to say if this would really suffice your needs. Well, if you really just need to churn out Wallpapers for your clients, make them extra happy, bring out extras for your products, applications, then this is one tool that can do some zippy work for you.
