I have always refrained myself from using ‘Voice Chats’ on most applications because the connection here is not all that good at most of the time. But today when Joey Lott introduced me to this cool product, Skype, I became an ultimate fan of the same. The audio was clear and my speech was getting through very smoothly. I am planning to try this on a dial-up (waiting for someone to talk to now). Go get it, it is free as far as I know. Now I think I won’t have to worry about strained hands typing Instant Messages with clients for project discussion, this will also save them time and can explain things better to me, fast and quick.

  1. and why didn’t you just use MSN Messenger or whatever?

  2. Skype have a more clear voice even on a low bandwidth. I just saw the interview of the CEO of skype on CNBC TV18 today and this application looks really promising.

  3. Skype is really excellent. People have been trying to develop Net2Phone application using Voip but have hard time with fire walls. I came to know that even at http://www.net2phone.ca has finally resovled this problem.
