I had been preparing myself for another rejection of VISA, this time the US. Somewhere in early February this year, the Australian Consulate rejected my VISA application regarding my MXDU Speakership. It did not look so favorable this time too with the US Consulate. I applied late, went off to Singapore and again to Bangalore. And I had the same old documents that I used during the Australian VISA request.

I was doing a search for some topics on Search Engine Optimization. Not that I want to or will be doing Optimization, I just wish to keep updated so that I can help our team take on the same. It came up with a client’s requirement who wanted help on Search Engine Optimization; and I was trying to find some …

My Father, Brojendro Oinam, expired on March 22, 2005. He was born on February 13, 1953. He is survived by his three sons and a daughter.
About a week back, I received calls from home that he was taken to a hospital and was in a bad shape. Later, I got further information that he was recuperating after couple of intermittent coma that overtook him. While I was still preparing to go down there, somewhere late in evening of March 22, 2005, his condition worsen suddenly and succumb to his illness.

Today Wired.com had an article Hackers Tilt PowerBook for Tricks, a rather entertaining article to read. The article eventually makes you sit up and read through the finer lines, think over on how things are shaping around the world we live in.

The tip here is an outcome of my tweaking and fooling around with Microsoft Outlook for the past coupla days, and applies aptly to Microsoft Outlook 2003 on Windows XP Professional (because that is what I am running). I was on a Singapore visit from March 7-11, 2005 to build up a potential partnership with a Singaporean. I attended the first day of Singapore MAX 2005, I will attend the similar second day session in Bangalore instead as I was scheduled to meet someone else that day. Thanks to Christine of Macromedia for arranging a complimentary free pass for me to the Singapore MAX 2005. Met Greg, Titu, James and Bill Perry.
I took a quick Tour of Sentosa just before I leave for the Changi Airport, Singapore. Singapore is a nice place and I am sure I will come back again with more time to spend. I stayed at Golden Landmark, the wi-fi internet access in the hotel was a blazing speed but time limited (S$6.30 per hour) and your charge starts count once you log in whether you use it or not. The StarHUB provided with free wi-fi in the Airport, Suntec City and some places if you roam your phone in their network.
