I was on a Singapore visit from March 7-11, 2005 to build up a potential partnership with a Singaporean. I attended the first day of Singapore MAX 2005, I will attend the similar second day session in Bangalore instead as I was scheduled to meet someone else that day. Thanks to Christine of Macromedia for arranging a complimentary free pass for me to the Singapore MAX 2005. Met Greg, Titu, James and Bill Perry.
I took a quick Tour of Sentosa just before I leave for the Changi Airport, Singapore. Singapore is a nice place and I am sure I will come back again with more time to spend. I stayed at Golden Landmark, the wi-fi internet access in the hotel was a blazing speed but time limited (S$6.30 per hour) and your charge starts count once you log in whether you use it or not. The StarHUB provided with free wi-fi in the Airport, Suntec City and some places if you roam your phone in their network.
Luckily, the IT SHOW 2005 at Suntec City, Singapore was on when I was there, so I spend the whole of March 10th, 2005 there. I even learnt to use the undeground train, commute between MRT Stations and yeah even the local buses.
