Beyond that forwarding mail to gmail and using the google calendar is also an amazing cross platform option. As for SVN subversion runs great on the Mac, depending on your IDE of choice Subclipse is my prefered GUI. After that I like smartSVN and if you are a tortoise user their is a plugin called SCP that will get you the same functionality. For RSS I live by NewsFire but I know many people also like netnewswire. The mac also has a built in tool for managing passwords which is quite nice.
