Comventures, in its continuing spree of heavy investment in India have continued to buy another major stake option in India TV, a 24×7 Hindi news channel of Independent News Services Pvt. Ltd. The investment of over Rs. 50.96 crore (about $11.5 million) amounting to 19.17% stake in Independent News Services Pvt. Ltd. puts India TV worth to the tune of Rs. 250 crore.

India’s biggest news broadcaster by sales, New Delhi Television Ltd, has signed an agreement with Com Ventures to draw funds to the Company’s media operations in UK. Com Ventures will invest $20 million in NDTV.

Alright, Twitter has suddenly attained the status of a notoriously popular Application. After being fueled by SXSW, everybody else is talking about Twitter including those who don’t even have a blog. Talks in the Blogosphere have spit out stats that Twitter got 1 million messages sent recently. Finally after about a year of its launch, Twitter has won.
Of course, it is not everybody that loves Twitter, some seriously hate it.

On Friday, 9th March, 2007, I saw Malaika Arora Khan posing like Angelina Jolie in the front page of Bombay Times for ZapakGirls. The photo reminded me of Angelina Jolie as Lara Croft. Malaika wield a Samurai Sword, sling coupla guns, complete with a utility belt and a buckle with the Zapak logo which would definitely not be helpful if she is doing any stunt or even walking for that matter. Her waist even shines with a 3.5″ inverted CD with 4 squares etched out which supposedly might be to store/steal/write data from enemy computers. Personally, I feel this is funny and stupid. Malaika do have the oomph factor but not for this Lara Croft type image.

My own site have been a victim for quite sometime and it had even driven me to think over and over again if I should move out. The site encounters 500 error every time I try to approve/moderate a comment and when I try to post an article.

The US-like environment, the Pizza culture, the f$#ked up slangs and everything else that happen in the 5 feet wide cubicles (sometimes smaller) - marriage liaisons, quote of the day, new year resolutions, celebrity gossips - is unable to retain employees for long; they will defect to another higher paying job.
