Since the 1st Independence day was celebrated at t=0, people keep confusing. So, for the record, we were celebrating the 60th Independence Day, but the completion of 59 years of Independence. (Unlike a baby who celebrate the 1st birthday when she/he is 1 year old). As an aside, let me point out that every year, there is confusion about which # Independence Day it is?
