Adobe website got a new design

Adobe got a new sparkling wide design. They seem to have focussed more on the content and less on those beveled UIs. They’ve also given more emphasis to widescreen format which is more popular these days. The new design is good.

  1. I did not participate in your poll as my response did not fit in anywhere :)

    I like the design in general but I hate the left align, especially so because the search still aligns to the right which gives undue importance to the search box and I don’t understand the reasons behind this.

  2. Yes, that is one thing that I’m not particularly happy about - the left align thingy. I’m OK with the search.

  3. The new Adobe website looks amateurish. Sorry. It just looks awful.

  4. Before the merge, Macromedia also launched a new design, and before the final look and feel of the website was decided, they asked for feedback from the customers and the developer community. It seems a step back for Adobe, the customer is not needed for anything else but the purchase.
