what’s the chance Apple release a Leopard patch/updater that breaks this?
gut feeling, highly likely.
Yes, very likely, it might break with every update release from Apple. However, the hackers will come up with another patch that patches that patch. So, if PC-Leopard users are happy, they might just stick with their working version!
Disclaimer: I’m on a Mac running Leopard, so I’m never likely to try the above method.
i am currently usin windoes vista ultimate.
mine system configuration is
Processor Intel® Pentium® D CPU 2.80GHz, 2800 Mhz, 2 Core(s), 2 Logical Processor(s)

CAN I INSTALL LEOPARD IN MY SYSTEM?
yes you can but it is rly hard to install it if you dont know how like me i am trying it for last 2 days and i cant figure it out how to install it
_hey guys, i would consider my self as, above average experienced on osx86 leopard installation… to find out more about this, go to insanelymac.com and ull find lots of info… about u guys trying to install on a pentium D… hmmm, not sure if it will work, i have a laptop with dual core 2, and a desktop with pentium D, and the desktop isnt working at all, only the iaktos DVD has worked to install, but after the instatllation, nothing would show up… still working on that1. also, if u have a NVIDIA video card, then it will be great… otherwise, it will be a pain… just like my x1400 card….
You might be able to install leopard on a pc but it’s still just a pc. It will be slow and it will not have all the advantages that a mac has. Instead of trying to make a pc operate like a mac you could just buy a mac and then use the dual boot program included in leopard to install windows on it and run it faster than a pc would.
PC is just a PC - what is that supposed to mean? - man Im sorry but you DUMB! - MAC or PC is just hardware - I know what Im telling you - I bought an iMac for almost 2000 bucks only to realize later on that I AM now running LEO on my Pentium D 3Ghz and this one is as fast as the iMac running its OSX - think before you speak…
hahahah Roswell well put. to put all BS aside the fact that people are doing this is just the nature of curiosity. i own a macbookpro, hp w/vista ultamit , hp running fedora core 9… so what im trying to say is all of them can run each other opeating systems the fun is finding out how.
putting leopard in sun micro systems virtual machine now.
i wish i two computer if i did i try and boot camp! (does it work?)
