I have put in my "TODO CUE" the possibility of doing Open ID via a proxy service like using CFHTTP. :) If anyone gets there first share it with us!

I've looked into OpenId. It's a nice framework for authentication. The one piece it's missing is a to interface with OpenId providers by way of webservices. It looks like they are looking into it, but for now, there isn't any way. So this means that our rich interfaces will have to leave their page so that a user can authenticate and then be re-directed back. For more on this, see: http://wiki.openid.net/REST/SOAP/HTTP_Bindings
