As noted above in the post, I personally don't buy into the list. I thought it will be OK for people to just watch it. Nothing beyond that.

By 'Hottest", did they meant 20 most popular or 20 best Web Companies with great potential?

Either way, most of these companies don't deserve to be on the list.
