I’m not Spacy
A Twitter powered service which tracks your Google Calendar and tweet to you prior to your appointments. Everybody uses Twitter these days. What better way than to add another option so your appointments can be tweeted to you.
We, at Infinitely Beta, continue to work on our main application — Paisa, nonetheless, weekends are best left for quick and funny projects, beer and fun. I’m not Spacy was one such weekend project, which we feel you might find it useful or at least fun to try.
How as it developed?
The Infinitely Awesome Developers did their usual magic. Though, I’m not at extended liberty to talk about the technology yet, its powered by the likes of mongoDB, Tornado with Jinja Templates.
How was it designed?
For the lack of a designer in our team, I had the opportunity to do the whole UI Design and Interaction. The html is more of HTML5, though I’ve restrained myself from using a lot of the new fancy bells and whistles. Thanks to HTML5Shiv which makes it possible for IE to render the HTML5 blocks.
I was also very eager to try a better way of writing and organizing CSS. I settled on the Syntactically Awesome Stylesheet (SASS) and it has been one hell of a joyride so far. I relied on Compass to track, compile and watch over the SASS scripts.
