Remember the famous scientist Edison who fail to in his school and became the greatest inventor of all time. There are lots of example exist there. Practical approach is a much require thing to understand any technology. The perfect example is a mobile device; when we buy a new phone we do not know its features but after some time, when we start playing with the device, we can understand all the functionality and features.
