NSFW allows you to send a shortened and safer URL which are Not-Safe-For-Work with a warning that the content/link outgoing onwards is NOT-SAFE-FOR-WORK. That’s it — plain and simple.

Twitter client Twhirl acquired by Seesmic

Twhirl is a popular desktop Twitter client, based on the Adobe AIR platform, developed by Marco Kaiser. Besides being able to acess Twitter service directly from the Desktop, Twhirl also cross post to other services like Pownce and Jaiku.

Adobe AIR and Security

The reason behind this is there are a number of design and implementation patterns common to HTML web applications that are too dangerous to be combined with the local system access inherent in the AIR application sandbox.

Flash on the iPhone — No, Yes, Nope, very Likely Yes
