Look at the pattern of the comments on these sites, Sean Voisen, Sam’s echotap. Daniel Dura have also reported the same on his blog. So, blog spamming is real and is showing its ugly head. There may be other sites that I have not come across but already affected by this new spamming style.

I received many questions offlist into my personal mail asking “how to send e-mails from Flash”. A complete tutorial and a good one at that is there at Navneet Behals’s site, direct your browser over there and read the tutorial.

There was a tool to turn Flash on and off from a web page. I did not like that because of some reason which I have forgotten. But today I found a rather easy to install, easy to use and a real good one for turning Flash on or off during your development. Check out …

Components, something I do not love much for my projects, though good for demos and fast presentations. It is the lack of flexibility to “skin it with ease and more effectively”. Let us pray MM does something in future for this. Well, for me, my view of component is changing. I had been doing a couple of projects together with Darshan, and as you know he is the component guy, so we were clashing on many issues. All the way long, I had been thinking that Camtasia Studio Recorder can output only a max of 320 × 240 resolution. But I am wrong, now you can broadcast whatever dimension I wish. As there is no easy way to do an application sharing or a desktop sharing directly with Macromedia Flash Communication Server MX 1.0/1.5, Camtasia Studio comes to the rescue with its live record output feature.

All along the way while answering many questions, I came across quite a few post concerning scenes and the confusion circling around the same. Well, first of all, this topic is not for the advanced Flash users. I will put in my small effort to clear a bit about scenes in Macromedia Flash MX.

Mediatemple.net got a new look with a stylish and techno-oriented design. Mediatemple is one of those best hosting service out there and I particularly like its prompt/fast reply and good customer support. Even if you have no interest for a web host at the moment, it would still be nice to just check out their new design, curved more towards the new media lingua, it would not be a misnomer to called that a real balanced layout.
