Many people on the Internet have inspired me, and I have learned a lot without them even realizing it. Besides just a few, I have never met any of them. These are a few, if not all, that I remember and can list here. Thank You.

- [Dave Shea](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dave_Shea_(web_designer)) of [daveshea.com](https://daveshea.com), is the creator and “cultivator” of the highly influential website [CSS Zen Garden](http://csszengarden.com), and co-author of [The Zen of CSS Design](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Zen_of_CSS_Design) with Molly Holzschlag.
- [Maggie Appleton](https://maggieappleton.com/) makes visual essays about programming, design, and anthropology. She is a fantastic designer who codes her designs. She has one of the best maintained and designed Digital Garden.
- [Molly Miriam Esther Holzschlag](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Molly_Holzschlag) (January 25, 1963 - September 5, 2023) was an author, lecturer and advocate of the Open Web. She wrote or co-authored 35 books on web design and open standards, including [The Zen of CSS Design](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Zen_of_CSS_Design). She was nicknamed the “Fairy Godmother of the Web.”
